When I was asked to do a Welsh winter wedding in my home town I jumped at the chance; after living in The Midlands for so long it really makes me so happy to come home especially when it's to photograph a wedding.
The wedding of Mr & Mrs. Jones was set in a beautiful converted barn at The Pencoed House Estate, Cardiff. It was cold outside but as soon as you stepped through the door the log fire was burning, the lights were twinkling, the prettiest of chairs complete with hanging lace and pearls and when you got to the end of the isle was a huge rustic sign of 'Love'.
It really was clear to see how much Deb & Dai loved each other especially when the Groom shed a few tears as he saw his beautiful bride to be enter the room. It really was a fairytale Whimsical Wedding.
As we sat down for food, after we heard the lovely speeches that brought the room to tears and laughter, much to our surprise in walks a man dressed and talking like Del Boy from only fools and horses. I thought he might have walked in the wrong room but he came back a few more times dressed as other characters. It was a brilliant idea to get the crowd laughing and feeling in a good mood before it was time to hit the dance floor.
Wishing the Jones family all the happiness and Congrats, Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day, here are a few of my fave pics.
